Things to Do on the Sorrentine Peninsula

Beyond Sorrento itself, the Sorrentine Peninsula stretches west toward smaller towns like Massa Lubrense and Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, whose name nods to its rare position between two bays. From ridges and coastal paths here, including the western stretches of the Path of the Gods trail, hikers can look out over both the Bay of Naples and the Bay of Salerno in the same sweep. The pace is slower and more rural than in Sorrento, with olive groves, working farms, and quiet coves replacing the crowds of the main coastal towns.
