Things to Do in Capri and Anacapri
Capri rises out of the Bay of Naples as a small island of dramatic limestone cliffs, best known for the Blue Grotto, a sea cave where sunlight filtering through the water turns it an intense electric blue. Offshore, the three Faraglioni rock stacks are among the most photographed formations on the Italian coast, while a chairlift from Anacapri climbs to the summit of Monte Solaro for views over both the island and the mainland. Capri Town's small piazzetta, ringed by upscale cafés and boutiques, has long drawn a well-heeled crowd.
